Haven’t written an update in a while. Thought I would.

The Force Within (Lightsaber 2) has become a side-project for me. Filming is still not done and I don’t know when it will be done. Every major scene is filmed. The only thing left to film are small transition scenes/talking scenes.

So when is it coming out? No idea. But not any time soon. I am the only person editing and adding special effects. Rotoscoping is taking forever. Especially b/c there is lots and lots of footage with lightsabers in it. Not to mention the end is ridiculous. That scene alone will take me months to add special effects.

Don’t bitch about it. I don’t care. I’m the one sacrificing my time to do this. And rotoscoping takes a LOT of time. And it’s extremely boring and monotonous.

If anyone knows how to rotoscope lightsabers and wants to help leave a message. I’m not offering money. But with just me working on this, it’s going to be around a year before I come close to finishing.

Like I said, this has become a side project now. I don’t want to spend all my time on this. And I’m not going to. There are other things I want to film and work on. Plus filming is in an indefinite haitus due to cast refusal to film stuff. So I’m just going to work on special effects when I feel like it.

This doesn’t mean The Force Within isn’t going to come out. No matter what I’ll release it. It might not make sense, but I’ll release it. It’s just going to be a while.

I’ll be releasing extra footage, bloopers, etc. more frequently. And some time this winter I’ll release another trailer for TFW.

On to other things…

The movie I filmed this summer is coming out before Halloween. It’s one of our longer films. My sister and I made it while I was in Cali.

Why has it taken so long?

-Special effects. 90% of the movie has some sort of effect going on. There was a lot of roto work involved.

-Music. I wrote all the music for this by myself. On my keyboard. This is the only thing left to finish. I just have to sync it with the footage.

-I’m lazy.

We also plan on filming a few more shorts soon. We started filming A Week in the Life of Luke Ellsworth Easter almost a year ago, and we’re going to finish it. Because it is comedic genius.
